Lance D. Thomas and Penrod Drilling Company appeal from the judgment in this admiralty case in which Thomas sought compensation for an injury to his right hand which resulted in the subsequent amputation of his hand. The jury found Express Boat, Thomas' employer, liable to Thomas for $370,000 as a result of its negligence which proximately caused the injury.
