This is a civil rights action against individual corrections officers and the prison nurse arising out of an alleged beating and subsequent denial of medical treatment. Plaintiff alleges that defendants' conduct constituted cruel and unusual punishment and deprived him of his rights under the constitution and laws of the United States.
