THOMPSON, Judge.

The appellant, Lil' Champ Food Stores, Inc., contends that the trial court erred in permitting appellee's claim for punitive damages to go to the jury, and, further, in denying Lil' Champ's post-trial motions relating to punitive damages and entering judgment pursuant to the jury's verdict awarding punitive damages. We agree and reverse.
