In 1981, Ray Barrios went into the trucking business. On June 15th of that year he bought a new Magirus truck from a Mack Truck dealer in New Orleans. The Magirus is foreign-made but is distributed by Mack dealers in this country. Barrios made a cash down payment of $6,900.00 against the purchase price.
