Following a plea of guilty to the offense of unlawful possession of cannabis in an amount exceeding 500 grams (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1981, ch. 56 1/2, par. 704(e)), defendant, Sharon Kane, was placed on 30 months' probation. The State subsequently sought to revoke defendant's probation, alleging that while on probation, she committed the offense of unlawful possession of a controlled substance...
