Irving E. Le Vine and Joan Le Vine Spickelmier were married in 1968. In late 1972, the husband retired from the United States Air Force with full military retirement benefits after twenty years of service. He attended and eventually graduated from veterinary school, and then established a veterinary practice in Mountain Home, Idaho.
