Memorandum Findings of Fact and Opinion

JACOBS, Judge:

Respondent determined a deficiency of $5,224 in petitioner's 1981 Federal income tax liability, and additions to tax under sections 6651(a)(1) and 6653(a)1 in the respective amounts of $429 and $261.20. In his amended answer, respondent has requested an award of damages under section 6673 in an amount that this Court deems appropriate.
