Carlene Ann Buschkopf was convicted of first degree murder, Minn.Stat. § 609.185(1) (1984), and conspiracy to commit first degree murder, Minn.Stat. § 609.175, subd. 2(2) (1984), of her husband, Ted Buschkopf, by shooting. The trial court sentenced her to life imprisonment.
