This appeal arises out of a wrongful death action in which the court awarded plaintiffs-appellees $610,000.00 in total damages.
The decedent, Coye Bickham, sustained third degree burns over 80% of his body in a butane gas explosion at his home outside Franklinton, Louisiana, on February 6, 1982.
