The defendant, Oliver King, Jr., was charged by an amended bill of information with attempted second degree murder and armed robbery in violation of LSA-R.S. 14:27, 14:30.1 and 14:64. A twelve member jury unanimously found defendant guilty on both charges. The defendant received concurrent sentences of 75 years at hard labor without benefit of parole, probation or suspension of sentence on the charge of armed robbery and 50 years at hard labor...
