The defendant, Gaston Griffin, Jr., was charged by bill of information with armed robbery in violation of LSA-R.S. 14:64. After hearings on Motions for Preliminary Examination and Bond Reduction and Motion to Suppress, the charge was amended and reduced to attempted armed robbery in violation of LSA-R.S. 14:27 and 14:64.
