In a jury trial, Dennis Keith Massey was convicted of rape and sodomy. The trial court imposed the jury's sentences of fifteen years in prison for each offense.

At trial, Massey's defense was that the prosecutrix had consented to the sexual acts. In support of his defense, Massey offered several witnesses in an effort to prove that at a party, which lasted from approximately 9:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. on the night of the attack, the prosecutrix...
