This Mississippi class-action suit is an assault on Mississippi's system of segregated junior colleges. Defendants admitted at trial that vestiges of de jure segregation still exist; hence the trial court concentrated solely on remedies. The court finally approved one of the proposed plans for desegregation, which appellants find objectionable.
