On the evening of March 26, 1983, Charles Moss left his home in north Shreveport to have a prescription filled for his sick wife. After having done so, he stopped at a Wendy's drive-in restaurant on North Market Street. While there he was abducted by the defendant-appellant, Arthur Lee Brown, and two co-conspirators, Terrell Porter and Gregory Means.
