Defendant was found guilty of disregarding a red light and fined $10.00 and costs. He has appealed from that judgment in the form of a writ.

The record reflects that defendant was involved in a traffic accident on the west bank of Jefferson Parish when his automobile collided with another vehicle at the intersection of the West Bank Expressway and Barataria Boulevard.
