For the sale of a controlled substance, appellant was found guilty by the verdict of a jury, but on January 20, 1983, the trial court made an order, "Imposition of Sentence Suspended" and placed appellant on probation for a period of three years. On March 16, 1984, the probation was revoked, and a sentence was imposed of ten years imprisonment. Defendant then filed his notice of appeal from the original jury finding (December 8, 1982),...
