Larry Wayne McNeese was injured while working on a fixed platform located in the Gulf of Mexico, and brought this products liability suit alleging jurisdiction under the Outer Continental Shelf Lands Act (OCSLA), 43 U.S.C. § 1331-1356. After a three-day trial, the jury awarded McNeese $450,000 in damages and the defendant, Red Fox Industries, appealed.
