OPINION ON STATE'S MOTION FOR REHEARING ON APPELLANT'S PETITION FOR DISCRETIONARY REVIEW

Appellant was convicted in a bench trial for possession of a firearm by a felon. Punishment, enhanced by two prior convictions, was assessed at life imprisonment.
