The minor respondent, D.L.F., was adjudicated delinquent for having committed the offenses of aggravated battery, unlawful use of weapons, and aggravated assault. (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1983, ch. 38, pars. 12-4(b)(1), 24-1(a)(2), 12-2(a)(1), respectively.) The court committed the minor to the Department of Corrections.
