The principal issue presented by this appeal is whether contributory negligence may be a complete defense to alleged violations of Chapter 75 of the North Carolina General Statutes concerning unfair or deceptive trade practices. Defendant also assigns as error the trial court's failure to submit an issue to the jury as to whether defendant's acts constituted unfair or deceptive trade practices and its conclusion as a matter of law that defendant violated...
