On or about January 11, 1983, plaintiff Robert Wecht commenced this personal injury action, joined by his wife who sues for loss of consortium, against defendants General Motors, its Chevrolet Division, and Dial Chevrolet. The complaint alleges that the truck Robert was driving on Sound Avenue in Suffolk County went out of control, struck a guide pole and flipped over, crushing his left foot.
