The appellant, Ralph Carter, appeals from a jury defendant's verdict in favor of the appellee, Missouri Pacific railroad. On October 22, 1982, at about 8:15 a.m., appellant was driving his pickup truck east on U.S. Highway 64 near Wynne, Arkansas. Mr. Carter's pickup truck was struck by a northbound train as he attempted to cross the tracks on a clear morning. At the time of the accident, the crossing's flashing light signal device...
