The plaintiff Gayle L. Martin filed a claim for unemployment compensation after she was discharged by her employer. The defendant Department of Employment Security initially granted her claim, but on appeal by the employer to the appeal referee, benefits were denied her under U.C.A., 1953, § 35-4-5(b)(1), which mandates disqualification for compensation:
