This is an appeal from an adjudicatory hearing in a child-in-need-of-assistance (CHINA) proceeding pursuant to Iowa Code section 232.96. In support of its CHINA petition, the State presented evidence that the child was the product of an emotionally troubled family whose members were in need of counseling and treatment.
