On May 12, 1983, appellant, Amos Hughley, and an accomplice entered PJ's Lounge on High Street in Warren, Ohio. Wielding guns, appellant and his accomplice proceeded to rob the bartender and most of the customers. Again, on May 19, 1983, at 10:30 p.m., appellant and his accomplice entered the Chateau Lounge in Warren, Ohio.
