The appellant, Garland W. Harless, was convicted of aggravated robbery by a jury in the Circuit Court of Cabell County and was sentenced to a term of one hundred and twenty years in the state penitentiary. He originally filed a petition for a writ of habeas corpus in this Court challenging the length of his sentence and the failure of the circuit court to provide him with a copy of the trial proceedings for purposes of an appeal.
