Plaintiff suffered a heart attack on November 19, 1971, which arose out of and in the course of his employment with defendant City of Grosse Pointe Park Fire Department. Benefits under the Worker's Disability Compensation Act (WDCA) were paid voluntarily by the fire department's workers' compensation insurance carrier, defendant Royal Globe Insurance Company, in the amount of $90 per week beginning November...
