Defendant appeals his convictions for failing to exhibit his pilot's license upon demand of a police officer (R.C. 4561.14), and for carrying a passenger without possession of a valid airman's certificate (R.C. 4561.15[A]).

Defendant filed a motion to dismiss the charges. An oral hearing was held in which the testimony revealed the following facts relevant to this appeal: that, in the early morning hours of June 5, 1983, defendant radioed Port Columbus...
