Defendant Robert J. Farley pleaded guilty to a charge of delivery on December 9, 1982 of a schedule II controlled substance (cocaine), a class "C" felony. Iowa Code § 204.401(1)(a) (1981). The trial court sentenced defendant to a term not to exceed ten years, suspending the sentence and placing defendant on probation.
