In this wrongful death and survival action the jury assessed damages of $1,002,089.03 against Grays Harbor Community Hospital and Dr. Samuel F. Nebel, in favor of David E. Bingaman as personal representative of the estate of Deborah M. Bingaman, deceased. When their post-trial motions for remittitur or in the alternative a new trial were denied, the Hospital and Nebel jointly pursued this appeal, raising issues as to damages only.
