Plaintiff commenced an action on May 5, 1982, in Ingham County Circuit Court, seeking declaratory and injunctive relief. Plaintiff contended that the Logging Industry Compensation Fund provisions of Chapter 5 of the Worker's Disability Compensation Act, MCL 418.501 et seq.; MSA 17.237(501) et seq., were unconstitutional.
