This action originated from an automobile accident between Louella Gardner and Michael McEachern, which occurred when Gardner made a left turn in front of McEachern's vehicle. As a result of the collision, Gardner was taken to John Peter Smith Hospital, which is operated by Appellant Tarrant County Hospital District [hereinafter Hospital District].
