Appellant George Rule was convicted by a jury of assault in the second degree in violation of Minn.Stat. § 609.222 (1982) following a dispute with a neighbor in which appellant allegedly pointed a gun at the victim. Appellant tried to show at trial that he and the victim had a long-standing feud and that at the time of the incident he was acting in self-defense. He claims on appeal...
