The defendant, Adrian C. Perkins, was charged by bill of information with simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling belonging to Carl Bynum on June 15, 1982, in violation of LSA-R.S. 14:62.2. Defendant was convicted and sentenced to be confined in the custody of the Secretary of the Department of Corrections, State of Louisiana, for a period of ten years.
