Michael Hanrahan ("Hanrahan" or simply "Michael") petitions for a writ of habeas corpus setting aside his state court sentence. Hanrahan says he was denied effective assistance of counsel at his sentencing hearing due to an alleged conflict of interest on the part of his trial attorney Lawrence Suffredin ("Suffredin") — because Suffredin had, before the sentencing hearing, agreed to represent Hanrahan...
