Defendant, Curtis Tullos, was convicted by a jury of Second Degree Murder (R.S. 14:30.1) and sentenced to life imprisonment without benefit of parole, probation or suspension of sentence.

From this verdict, the defendant now appeals and has assigned the following error for our review:
