PER CURIAM.

Petitioner Pickens was found guilty of capital murder committed in 1975 in Arkansas county. The case was moved on a defense motion for change of venue to Prairie County which was then in the same judicial district. A sentence of death was imposed.

On January 30, 1984, the United States District Court vacated petitioner's death sentence as the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals had ordered it to do. See Pickens v. Lockhart, 714...
