MORGAN, Justice.

A grand jury indicted defendant for first degree murder in the shooting death of his wife. SDCL 22-16-4. Pursuant to a plea agreement, the state filed an information alleging manslaughter in the first degree. SDCL 22-16-15. Defendant pleaded guilty to the charge and was sentenced to one hundred years in the state penitentiary.
