Teves, Jr. (Teves), was convicted of seven counts: two counts of attempted robbery in the first degree in violation of Hawaii Revised Statutes (HRS) §§ 705-500 and 708-840(b)(ii); two counts of kidnapping in violation of HRS § 707-720(1)(d); two counts of sexual abuse in the first degree in violation of HRS § 707-736(1)(a); and one count of rape in the first degree in violation of HRS § 707-730...
