The plaintiff, while working as a nurse for the defendant, sustained injuries by accident arising out of and in the course of her employment when she was attacked by a large black man as she was in the process of "clocking out" after completing her duties on the 3:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. shift on January 2, 1980.
