On October 14, 1981, pursuant to a plea and sentencing agreement, defendant pled guilty to armed robbery, MCL 750.529; MSA 28.797. Under the sentencing agreement, announced by Judge Yeotis, defendant was to be sentenced to prison for a term of 10 to 20 years. Under the plea agreement, announced by the prosecutor, two other charges pending against defendant in the Circuit Court for Genesee County would be dismissed; an uttering and publishing a forged check...
