In this appeal, we consider, pursuant to our partition laws, the rights of various owners in a 2.13-acre tract of land and the effect of a certain lease on a portion thereof.

Helen E. Pleasants brought a chancery suit against her 17-year-old daughter, Lisa Carol Morris, and F.F. White, to partition the 2.13-acre tract. Pleasants also sought termination of a lease between White and her on a portion of the tract where White operated a gasoline...
