¶ This malpractice action against plaintiffs' former attorneys was commenced in March, 1977 to recover damages for defendant's failure to timely serve a notice of claim under section 50-e of the General Municipal Law. Kel Management Corp. had been issued a permit by the City of New York to alter certain building premises for use as an adult residence facility.
