The defendant, Bourke Palmer Mynatt, Jr., originally was charged with a felony involving violation of the election laws. He was allowed to plead guilty to violating T.C.A. § 2-19-102, a misdemeanor provision, and his 11 month, 29 day sentence was suspended, conditioned upon payment of a $500 fine and costs.
