On March 1, 1982, Utah Power & Light Company (UP & L) requested authority from the Idaho Public Utilities Commission (Commission) to increase its annual revenues by 29.1%, or $23,762,000.00. The United States Department of Energy (DOE) petitioned to intervene on April 14, 1982.
