Appellant, Carl Joseph Worrell, was convicted by a jury in the Superior Court of Chatham County of voluntary manslaughter, and sentenced to 20 years. The evidence authorized the jury to find that on July 13, 1981, around midnight, Worrell and his girl friend went to the home of Bobby Lee, the victim, in Garden City, Georgia.
