The evidence with respect to this charge, when considered in the light most favorable to the State, tends to show that Orange County Deputy Sherrifs Charles Blackwood and Phyllis Coates took the defendant into their custody at the Durham County Jail for the purpose of transporting him to Orange County for trial.
