This appeal is from a divorce decree granting respondent, Mary Ellen Kane, a divorce from appellant, James F. Kane, on the ground of a continuous one year separation. Mrs. Kane brought this action in April of 1980. The parties had obtained a foreign (Dominican Republic) divorce in February of 1977.
