This is an appeal by W. Randall Ackerman and Roddy Dale Isom, landlords, from a judgment granting Perry N. Little, tenant, recovery of a rental security deposit on a leased townhouse. Pursuant to former TEX.REV.CIV.STAT.ANN. art. 5236e,1 the court trebled the $300 security deposit, awarded an additional $100 statutory damages, and awarded attorneys' fees of $500.
