Bruce Lee Dahle died in a head-on automobile collision on December 24, 1981. Dahle was survived by his wife, appellant Patricia Dahle, and his then unborn child. At the time of his death Dahle was operating an uninsured 1969 Buick which he purchased shortly prior to the fatal accident. Dahle also owned a 1956 Ford truck used for show purposes.
